Meet Theresa

In 2022, Ponte Vedra Concierge began with a difficult moment - watching my 87-year-old mother, Yukiko, reluctantly give up driving. As a fiercely independent woman, I saw an immediate decline in her zest for life. It was as if someone turned off a light switch. My once cheerful and engaged mother started to fade. She lost interest in the activities that brought her joy. Even though family was nearby, ready to drive her, she never asked. 

This is what I learned: Our aging parents do not want to be a burden, and most of all, they want to stay in the home they built with love. They do not want decisions made for them.

That was the moment I decided to design a company offering an independent lifestyle to a small number of individuals or families.

After 30 years of leasing office space in Atlanta, I am grateful to have a second career that brings me personal joy and fulfillment!
